Yeah!!!

Yes!!! Im a typical kiasu & kiasi Singaporean & hence, reached HDB office at 8am this morning thou my appt to book my flat was at 10.45pm -_-'

I was shocked cos i saw the china couple who queued in front of me the other day!!! They were even earlier than me loh~ Still, it was a reali stressful 3.5hr (yes, our turn to book only came at 11.30am due to some delays & a few ppl nv even turned up!) watching our choice units being taken one by one on the stupid small screen. Every minute was a torture to me & everytime i see one of my choice units selected, my heart juz sank like stone.

U noe, the showflat was selected by the FIRST couple!!! Goodness hell...i was waiting at the screen there, preparing to cross out all selected units so dat we can prepare to choose others in case all our choice units were selected & bloody hell, the 1st unti dat i've crossed out was the bloody showflat at an amazing 265K. Cheap huh? Keke...well, i wasen upset cos i wasen impressed with the way the flat was done up but it's super value for $!! In fact, Chris's elder bro was intending to take the showflat but of cos, the chance was reali a negative.

So in e end, we ended up with a unit dat faces the playground & garden rather than the one facing the new sports complex where the new mrt line will juz run rite next to it~ Haiz...i cun believe it. Everyone wants the same units! When our original plan was destroyed by the first 50 couples before us, we changed plan and decided not to insist on getting a unit dat faces the main road aka sports complex aka mrt line. We settled on the one with the full length windows dat faces the playground.

And we heng heng gotten the 15th floor!!!! I was quite disappointed cos when its our turn to choose, the screen showed dat the 17th floor was still available. But the china couple rite b4 us took it!!!! Sian, so we got the 15th floor instead (cos the 16th floor was long ago taken up).

Yeah! Went up to our flat, hoping to take a good look but was blocked. But nvm, i took a pic of the main door ;D Sui4! Getting keys within 3 to 6mths! Excited~

Then, we went downstairs to take a few pics of the surroundings...

Heh~ All in all, its been a freakingly stressful & tiring day. After we secured the unit, we went up to 3rd floor to pay $2K & went back to the 1st floor to collect our floorplan & other documents.

Chris was drawing the 3D plan of the new house & suddenly, i can visualise much better. Pardon me cos to me, floorplan is useless. I cannt make out all the stuff & i would rather see the damn plc myself. Although i've seen it b4, i've nv seen the 'raw' one!! Showflats can be pretty misleading.

So now, got a pretty good idea of wat my living room shld have le!!! keke..will be planning lots of stuff & i hope nothing much will go wrong again.

Yes, we r both so tired & shagged out today. All the stupid waiting & worrying...im gg to concuss soon gals, update again!
