Good News

RHB has granted us 21K out of the 21.5K we need *thumbs up* We'll b going to the branch at Cecil Street coming Sat to open a bank account with RHB & to pay $210 of processing fees. Which equates to $710.

Maybank hasen gotten back to us & SCB has been calling me non-stop, lol. Sori, RHB had given me a much lower interest rate of 6.25% plus granted us a higher loan. There'll be one year free of Home & Decor and a welcome gift of...either a mini cooler or watever, i cant rem. Still, the most impt factor is they absorb the insurance. Normally, each applicant would have to pay 1% of the loan amt as insurance. Its compulsory. Im juz glad we do not have to fork out an extra $420. I haven decided whether to take a 4yr or a 5yr loan. Hai....will talk to the banker coming Sat & see how. Have msg Kenneth the good news. At least re-assure him dat we have the $ to pay -_-" Which also means we need to fork out an extra $500 cash to Kenneth.

Chris had met with the contractor. Seems like they are not willing to do up major defects cos they arent the main contractor (????). They are only the sub-cons who are hired by the main con to help out in rectifying defects (wtf??!). We dun have major ones but it seems like they r not even willing to change the door for us. They can only try to mend & make it look better. They also promised a chemical wash all over again. This is getting very annoying...

Rem my wisdom tooth operation ppl? Luck is on my side! I've received a CPF Medisave statement & they approved $665 from the $800+ i've paid for my operation. Looks like i shld be able to receive my chq from the dental clinic soon. Tink i will call next week to hound them for my chq. Yes, im desperate for cash...

Hope Chris's fren will also return us $585 soon. Cos the chq of $785 (rebate for car insurance) was sent to his fren (as the car was under the fren's name). He actually withdrew cash to return Chris today but he last min got to pay things and he used the cash -_- So only returned us $200. His wife is pregnant for the 2nd time & he was bz rushing his wife to KK for check-ups & also his work. Hai...

So hw abt the $3888 rebate & the $2000 refund of option fee from HDB? Not yet..not so soon. Am feeling the stress now as i type but at least, its managable for now.

Oh ya, PUB sent a letter to 'threaten' us to open the PUB account, LOL. Wuhahaha...ok loh, i'll try to make an appt when im free :)

Ok, am gg to bathe now (its 8pm & i tink XW shld have left the bloody office???!) & later do up my expenditure sheet for my dear hubby to see. Hope the info will not shrink his balls :)
