Have received my PB abt an hour ago :)

Happy & glad to have more cash on hand...so ever since we moved to our new place, some of the bills weren't paid promptly. Even when we use credit card to buy stuff, i will pay the next day or juz go to the nearest AXN to pay on the spot becos we only want the discount & the reward points of the credit cards loh. But usually, the last 2 or 3 credit card transactions for petrol goes unpaid until we get the next mth's pay.

But thankfully, this mth, due to an unexpected credit in the account, im able to 'start afresh' from next mth onwards! Hopefully can keep this up (no sudden weddin invites, mahjong debts, illnesses) & im really looking forward to next year.

When 2008 comes, its:

24 more yrs of housing loan

4 more yrs of renovation loan

infinite yrs of car loan (i tink i will change car after 5yrs)

Saving for my lasik operation, taking of the wedding pics & i really hope can go on a trip to Dubai with Chris Ang. Also at the same time, saving for all the car expenses. Proud to say dat when i chk the account today, surprisingly, after this mth, this yr's 2 road taxes & car insurance are all set aside for. Whew...

Also received a pamphlet on the GST package. Looks like most ppl will fall into the $800 for 4 years group cos i tink a 4-room flat's annual value shouldnt be lower than 5K rite? Wonder if shld juz keep the money there or withdraw & put into bank account. Hopefully, after 5yrs, will save enuf to invest & generate more income!

Was msging XW & we both think dat having kids in sg is too difficult. I tink most women would wan a child at least but so many hurdles...I mean, even getting a flat in sg is not cheap loh. I tink for everyone's benefit, even thou i bot a new flat in Jurong West (supposedly the most ulu place on earth), its costs abt $226,000 for a 5-room premium. Chris's dad bot their 4-room (which is bigger than our 5-room btw) at 90K, which was juz fully paid up when he passed away :( He slogged his whole life ever since he was 16 & was nv w/o a job. Single-handledly brought up 4 brats & a wife & fully pay for a 4-room with his own $ when he finally reach 54. But he nv got the chance to enjoy his retirement & nv got to witness any of his sons' marriage. So afraid dat when we r old, we will also end up lidat.....
