Busy..im shagged...

Today very bz...went astin's plc & wow! No wonder the bloody plc costs a cool 700K+. Ironically, the highest AND the lowest unit costs the most! Siao...Astin lives on the 11th with a magnificent view of the swimming pool. I tink condos nowadays are v small...her place is abt my size but kitchen is bigger. The place was already 100% done up, everything provided including aircon, hod+hood (!!!!!!), floorings, ceilings etc. All she has to do, is get furniture, curtains & kitchenware.

Curtain guy came today & Chris said he took some pics with his hp b4 he left. Some pics to share gals! Im quite a boring person, hence chose the same beige colour for all the roller blinds & juz whtie+grey for living room curtains....

MBR pic finally can load...Now, i can use internet already. We did up the platform & juz plonk the mattress on it. Add 4 pillows & 2 bolsters plus the super shiok quilt & we can oink at nite liao. Dats the 2 standing lights i bot..initally meant for the living room platform but i realised dat the look isnt wat i wan...So juz move them to the MBR.

Juz ate my dinner & now Chris at happy hour. My downstairs neighbour is drilling away...I tink i will go mad after CNY cos the neighbours above me, beside me, all are starting reno after CNY. Good luck to me~

I have pics of my MBR too but cannt load leh...Something wrong~ Almost evday, i use the w/m but i foresee myself washing more when Chris starts work tml. He fetched me to work today & i reached at 7.20am so dat he can avoid the ERP. Then he drove to C&C for his car servicing & was told to go back at 12pm to collect his car. He called me for help cos he doesnt noe how to take bus! But he's at Teban...how the fuck i noe also rite? End up he took bus to Jurong East then topup his ezlink there b4 taking another bus home. Heh~ Now he will noe how inconvenient it is to take bus to our plc...its very ulu plus its raining :)

Handover finally on Sat. We gave ID a small angbao but he kept refusing until Chris stuffed it into his shirt pocket. He finally accepted & left. But Chris caught him sneaking back into our hse when we werent looking cos we were in MBR but door still left wide open) & he tried to put the angbao back onto the dining table! Chris caught him red-handed cos he heard someone, lol. He quickly stuff the angbao back into ID's shoes. WUhahahah~

Finally, the fridge+washing machine+tv+vaccum cleaner all arrived in good condition. Forgot to take pics of the kitchen but nvm, there's always chance. Coffee table & the shaggy rug also in the living roomm already but i nv take pic cos no sofa. Sofa will only arrive coming Sat.

Juz re-newed my Maxonline contract with Starhub to get the free Compaq desktop & also signed up for the Cable TV to get the free Sony Home Theatre System. Im looking at the Singtel lines but like no promo lidat leh. Wondering if i shld get a home line under Starhub as well so dat i have 3 Starhub accounts under my name & we can get a 5% discount off the total bill. Hmm....

Gals!!!! ID officially handling over flat this Sat morn *clap clap dance dance*

Initally tot not so fast liao cos he spotted probs with our kitchen glass door. But everything was rectified today. The guys doing paint touchup now & after tml's chemical wash, he's all set to handover the flat *thumbs up* At 1st, he called me ytday say got bad news :( Our fixed glass panel is not straight & he suspects dat the guy got the measurement wrong in the 1st plc so anyhow install. If measurement is wrong, he'll need to do up a new glass piece again cos ours is custom made :( Reali sad to hear dat loh but lucky today he cfm everything ok & we'll all test it out on Sat!

Was quite scared of the final payment amt cos all along, he nv tell us how much we need to top up for the tempered glass backing in the kitchen. Our final payment is actually $4746. I even sms him last nite, tell him not to give me heart attack coming Sat.

He msg me juz now..the final payment is lesser by abt $80+ compared to wat we have to pay initally. Hapi & relieved. He included the price for topping up of the tempered glass & also deducted the suspended dressing table cos i decided not to do one. He also nv include the handsprays, the $ he fork ou for the broken lights, the halogen lights, the doorbells, the extra length of L-box, the rectifying of HDB's defects on my poor main door...etc etc.

We are giving him a small angbao this Sat to thank him after he solve our neighbour's prob. Turns out dat the guy drill 2 holes for our suspended tv console & my neighbour found 2 holes on her side of the wall. She was so frantic & angry, she practically emailed & posted msgs on the forums i frequent & tracked down my ID. Lucky now she calm down liao & my ID will patch back everything for her & repaint the whole wall. Gave her my hp & office number, hope can re-assure her dat im not avoiding her. Cos she tried to find me since Sat but i've been reali bz from Sat to Sun cos of Ivan's weddin.

We'll be meeting her together with ID this Sat morning & settle it amicably. ID say quite common lar, we no need to b there, its not his 1st time anyway -_-" Turns out dat HDB walls are abt 4 to 6 inches thick only. My platform is 4 inches thick loh...and i dun tink its thick enuf for a wall, esp one dat we share with neighbour *gulp* Now i worry dat when she reno after CNY, my wall will have holes also....hai~ ID say its possible. But since now she kenna 1st, she shld inform her ID abt it else if i kenna holes, means she purposely loh. I dun wish to get off to a bad start with neighbour...

Met our upstairs neighbour last nite cos she wants to see our flat. ID also brought a couple to view our flat last nite after we left...sent our new neighbour back to her bf's plc cos very near......JurongWest St 41 only. ID very funi, say he nv been in the flat at nite b4 & he's very impressed with the effects after he turned on the lights. Keke..i tink all flats at nite will look nicer due to the lighting effects. The potential customer also emailed me, saying he's hapi with my ID's work but he'll need to view the tiling works as well cos for my flat, i only re-tiled my kitchen. Hope he'll decide on Kenneth too :)

Upstairs neighbour signed up with Unimax & she told me her ID quoted $600 to hack one side of the kitchen walls. Nv tell her my price..I only paid $220 to hack 2 small side walls & kitchen floor tiles. I feel she sign already, no point comparing anymore. She asked for my quotation, i nv give her also. Wats the pt rite? She already placed deposit liao somemore...

Chris juz bot a super shaggy carpet from Heritage Carpets near Upper Thomson. Cost $310...sounds quite ex but the forum ppl says actually quite reasonable. But i duno the market rate also. If too ex, also bobian already *gulp*

So many things coming this Sat! Feel very relieved...hope the chemical washing is good else i gotten wash again. Requested ID to tell the guy to scrub the tile grouts for me as well cos v la sup. More pics coming ppl!!! Once my furniture comes in :)

Hi ppl, sori i only got this pic cos there's simply no time to take pics wor...reali bz the whole freaking day & by the time i reach home at 12am on Sunday, i practically concussed. We took this pic while waiting for ivan+jm's tea ceremony at jm's side to end loh. She got a freaking 40+ pair of elders to serve tea to. Omg~ Kim hock was slping too but he slpt in Ivan's car. Even the bridal car driver also buay tahan, got kopitiam la teh.

Chervons' food+deco is only so-so. But its cheap. Heard dat Ivan only spent near 13K for his 29 tables banquet. Tink he made profit cos chris's side of the family mostly gave $100 per person. Dats alot loh!!! Of all the food, i only like the 1st cold dish & the last dessert...Orh Ni with ginko nuts...dats wat they call it...Food was provided by Gim Tim Restaurant. The complimentary buttercake is good thou.

Felt quite awkward there cos no-one noes me except jm's jiemeis & ivan's xiong dis. Only when i sat at the VIP table & joined them on stage for yam seng then the relatives came forward to me one by one to say next yr my turn, they sure come. They r nice & simple folks...but i juz dun feel natural with them. The only good thing is the jiemies & xiong dis are very frenly ppl...a couple of them kept me company to talk to me from time to time while i was standing like a goon du at the entrance to smile & welcome ppl dat i've nv seen b4 in my life~

Anyway, JM's BS is Everbliss & i've heard horrible comments abt this BS loh. But she seems to have no probs with them & the pics+video are done wonderfully. Esp the video...reali so touching & fun to see :) She had one WG & two EG & one traditional costume (i duno how to call dat). All MTM. Her makeup not v nice thou...mayb im used to seeing her w/o makeup loh. But the pics all turn out nice...she forever has this slpy look due to her small eyes but she got put fake eyelashes so dat helps alot! All in all, although i dun like them, i enjoyed the wedding dinner..Esp after the yam seng, got one little boy run up stage to scream yam seng at his mum. His mum was so paiseh, she rushed to the stage to pull the little boy down. Haha..even the Chervons staff were saying how cute the little boy is.

Today took half day to see my flat again & new things are being done...no pics yet cos chris haven download but i guess when u guys come, u all can see else no element of surprise rite? :) My kitchen glass door is up, bathroom accessories+heater all installed & my kitchen solid surface top...They were also touching up the carpentry. Hope everything will be fine & can handover soon...

Bot 2 dresses & 1 top from Series (only they & Osmose have my size). Total cost = $144. Also bot 1 bag costing $23.90. Woah...once i spend, spend like queen siah.

Carpentries are up halfway..by end of this week, everything will be done except for my kitchen glass sliding door & the tempered glass backing for my kitchen stove area :) Some pics taken by Chris last evening. I tink by next tueday, everything will be complete. Then we gota chk for defects b4 handing over the last payment..

Today went V-hive to buy Chris's fav ball chairs and the coffee & side tables i like very much.

In a span of one week, the price of my coffee table increased from $279 to $335. Side table's price increased from $99 to $129. I nv buy cos i tot prices shld drop during X'mas sale. I din expect the price to increase instead. Reali disappointing...Feel like killing myself when i saw the new prices. The only good thing was, the ball chairs' price remain constant at $85 each. End up, no stock. Saw my ex CPF colleague & she wanted to buy the ball chair too. Only one left & she took it -_-

End up, we ordered at V-hive (Katong Mall) and we cash & carry from there. Chris damn hapi abt his extra 2 balls ;D

BUT....

We went to Hommage Furniture at Serangoon today 2 look for dining tables & saw them selling the ball chairs at $69 each.

Finally ordered my tv, fridge & vaccum cleaner today. Reali hard to get thru the line. Was shocked when the w/m i wan, is discontinued. They explained dat when i called last week, they still had 3 left but all 3 are sold out already.

Electrolux is discontinuing the range but replacing it with a higher capacity one with similar features. Woah...one Electrolux 7kg w/m is near $800, i cannt juz place order lidat. Need to tink 1st. Delivery on 16 Dec. I pushed it up cos i wan to get the tv faster so dat i can redeem my vouchers to buy bedsheets as my mattress is arriving on 22 Dec. I'll move in on 22 Dec babes! ID say my stuff's delivery on 16 Dec no prob. Guess the handover date will definitely b earlier.
